NASA SCaN Internship Project (SIP) Description: The SCaN Internship Project (SIP) at the NASA Glenn Research Center (GRC) is a paid internship held in the spring, summer and fall where high school, undergraduate and graduate students, fellows, and educators gain hands on experience working with NASA mentors on projects in specialized areas of Space Communication and Navigation.

SIP introduces students to powerful communication systems and network software tools, allowing them to design and analyze space communication systems and networks.

Participants will gain hands-on research experience in Neuroscience, Neurological Injury, or Neurodegeneration while exploring Neuroscience as an undergraduate major and career choice.

4. Cincinnati Children’s Hospital High School Senior Summer Internship Program Description: The High School Summer Internship Program at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is an eight-week program in which graduating high school seniors work 20 hours per week with a mentor in one of multiple pediatric specialties.

This internship is a paid, part-time position for Cincinnati-area graduating high school seniors only.

The program is very competitive, offering an exciting opportunity for highly motivated students interested in pursuing higher education (MD, PhD, or MD / PhD) to learn more about careers in Biomedical Sciences.

Stipend: Interns work in person part-time (20 hours per week) and are paid $13 per hour.
